The Program

The Mission Fight Back Program follows a holistic approach combining psychological awareness with physical training that equips young girls with the ability to identify and deal with any form of an inappropriate sexual advance against them.

Program Details

It is a 15 days program, designed for young girls aged 10 to 18. However, the programme can be crafted to cater to women of any age group. The program starts with a ‘Motivation Session’ followed by:

Discovery & Prevention through Psychometric Analysis

We endorse and follow an awareness program based on offender/perpetrator behaviour that leads to the creation of screening tools, prevention programs and data collection efforts which allows for a comprehensive approach to reducing sexually assaultive behaviour towards children, adolescents and adults alike. We envisage that this approach integrates mental health, physical training and educational tools to provide a holistic approach to tackle the issue of sexual assaults whatever form it may take (rape, marital rape or child sexual abuse). Awareness is Critical.

Physical training In FIST

FIST (Fast Intensive Street Survival Training)  is considered to be the most effective and practical form of self-defense in the present day scenario. As a self-defense system, it relies on simple, instinctive body movements rather than rigid techniques requiring years of training. It is easy to learn and retain, can be performed naturally and intuitively and as a result, men and women of all ages, different physical characteristics, capabilities, strength and training are currently moving in to use the self-defense techniques of FIST effectively.

FIST is a practical and tactical system which teaches how to prevent, deal and overcome all kinds of violence and attacks. FIST prepares the trainees in the subjects of self-defense, self-protection, fighting and combat skills, as well as skills to defend others, all in unique and comprehensive teachings and way.  Know more

Psychometric Assessment

We endorse a comprehensive approach where application of psychological screening tools based on characteristics of perpetrator’s behaviour together with a person’s strength and/or vulnerability to seek help, increases the possibilities of discovering susceptibility in them. These tests will help us gather insights into the child’s mind and their current psyche.

Prevention through Awareness

We believe that Awareness is Critical in reducing sexually assaultive behaviour towards children, adolescents and adults alike. We envisage that this approach integrates mental health, physical training and educational tools to provide a holistic approach to tackle the issue of sexual assaults whatever form it may take (rape, marital rape or child sexual abuse).

Data Collection and Analysis

A data collection form offering complete anonymity is used for the attendees of these awareness programs. The goal of this form is to assess the risk factors which predispose a person to sexual assault. It also provides a safe and confidential space to report or seek help if someone is going any kind of trauma.

Assessment & Parental Involvement

While the psychological assessment and physical training are going on, based on the findings of the psychometric assessment our psychologists prepare a report on any behavioural anomalies/signs of physical abuse. In case the report demonstrates a potential abuse case/discomfort of a child with an adult – parents of the child are informed and educated about handling such an issue. Thereby ensuring the child does not go unheard, unseen and does not suffer in silence.

The programme helps every child overcome their emotional fears and also become physically stronger and capable.
